The Les Paul Custom Widow is part of Epiphone’s Inspired by Gibson Collection and honors the 1950s classic designed by Mr. Les Paul himself in 1954 as the “tuxedo” version of his groundbreaking solidbody masterpiece, but you’ve probably never seen a “tuxedo” that looked quite like this one! The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Widow is fitted out with all of the specifications and details that have made the Les Paul Custom a player favorite for over 70 years. It features the traditional Les Paul Custom multi-ply top and back bound, all-mahogany body and adds a beautiful AAA flame maple veneer to the top and a very distinctive finish with matching binding and accents for looks that kill. The mahogany neck has a comfortable and fast-playing 60s SlimTaper™ neck profile and is topped with an ebony fretboard with pearloid block inlays. The fretboard has an easy-playing 12” fretboard radius and is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets that make smooth string bends a breeze.

This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson model also has the popular 60s-style Kalamazoo headstock and a low-friction Graph Tech® nut, and the multi-ply bound headstock proudly displays the Epiphone logo and a new, larger-sized Custom split-diamond inlay; both in mother-of-pearl and accented with color to match the body finish and binding. This wildly distinctive-looking guitar is equipped with a nickel Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge that provides outstanding intonation and string height adjustment and is paired with a classic Stop Bar tailpiece that contributes to the Les Paul’s well-known sustain.

The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Widow comes ready to rock with a pair of critically acclaimed Epiphone ProBucker™ Custom humbucker™ pickups that are paired with high-quality CTS® potentiometers with era-appropriate wiring. A Premium Gig Bag is included.
